The Atern Coach certification is aimed at those working within (or with) organisations to support Atern projects and the team’s early steps. A certified Atern Coach can help reassure an organisation that they are being given good advice and guidance.
An Atern Coach must already have achieved DSDM Advanced Practitioner status, as well as 2 years Atern or DSDM experience and have coached at least 2 Atern projects of 3 months each. During the oral exam the Atern Coach will be expected to demonstrate an accurate understanding of Atern, based on their personal experiences. The Atern Coach will need to demonstrate the ability to address or avoid typical project problems as well as understanding the team dynamics. The Atern coach must also demonstrate an understanding of how Atern can be integrated with other management and delivery approaches.
