Invitation to DSDM Members for Nominations for Directors

The launch of Atern in 2007 generated interest in many organisations new to Agile and the past year has been a very exciting one for the DSDM Consortium.  In order to continue and build on this success the Consortium needs support from individuals willing to serve as directors.

If you would like to take an active role in the Consortium’s future I would encourage you to stand as a Director at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Dynamic Systems Development Method Limited (DSDM Consortium) on
24 April 2008.

There is an opportunity for you to achieve something really worthwhile and to make a significant contribution to the continued growth of DSDM.

and return it to us no later than midday on 20 March 2008 in order that all our members will have sufficient time to review the list of candidates prior to the meeting. 

Completed, signed forms can be faxed to +44 (0)1233 501311 to arrive by the deadline, but the original signed form must be posted to the address below.

The nomination form requires a candidate director to be a Full Member of the DSDM Consortium (not Honorary) and to be nominated and seconded by two separate Full Member organisations.  Their names (and the names of their employing companies) together with a maximum of 200 words supporting your application will be published to all Consortium members. 

Any prospective candidates who wish to discuss the roles and responsibilities of being a Director are welcome to call me on +44 (0) 1233 501300 and I will endeavour to answer any questions that they may have.  Naturally there are various moral and legal obligations which accompany this that you should be aware of before proceeding.

All new Directors attend a Directors’ Training Course which is designed to enable you to move into the role of director smoothly.
