Case Studies Required - Can you help?

Several organisations who have implemented Agile Processes recently are required for a study into the adoption of Agile Processes within organisations. The researcher, a Bournemouth University student has so far has been examining the evolution of a Project, identifying factors that can influence the success of change, the drivers and the barriers to change and specifically the barriers to adopting Agile Processes.

The objectives of the research are to

  1. Identify the barriers when adopting Agile Project Management
  2. Make recommendations about the ways and means to overcome these barriers
The benefits to organisations taking part in the research are that the research will allow their staff the opportunity to express their views on whether they saw the adoption as a success or failure, the opportunity to state any issues with the status quo of change within the organisation and most importantly the mechanism to provide suggestions on how change can be enhanced within the organisation. Another benefit of participation is that your organisation can be benchmarked against other companies which have implemented agile processes and can have access to the final report which will include a best practice model and recommendations

The researcher is planning to conduct the research during January and the report will available in March 2007.  If you wish to take advantage of this opportunity or seek more information please Contact Jason Carmichael on 07929 827783 or email Jason.Carmichael@hotmail.co.uk
